My desire is that this album would cause the listener to have a deep, burning hunger awakened that would draw them into a wholehearted pursuit of Jesus The theme of this album is a deep hunger for God and a longing for His presence. Hunger is not a place of comfort but it is a place of refuge. Hunger brings pain, but protects from temptation. The hunger pains stretch your heart and make you empty yourself of compromise and create a holy dissatisfaction that drives you to depend on God. In essence, hunger is weakness, but in weakness His strength is made perfect.
